Steve Mellings - Director

Steve Mellings is a founding partner at Consiglio Associates and has close to 15 years experience in asset management. Steve launched Consiglio in January 2010 as an independent company designed to help Data Controllers build processes and procedures to deal with IT Asset Retirement and to assist in the management of service providers. He has worked with some of the largest corporations in the world including Sun Microsystems, Hewlett Packard, and IBM and designed the Morse Asset Retirement Program (now called Pro-active Asset Retirement). He has helped write and implement programs for JP Morgan, Royal Bank of Scotland, HSBC and Orange. Responsible for service delivery at Consiglio, Steve is our lead consultant and works closely with the IT Disposal Industry and relevant government offices. He is currently developing an industry association called - Asset Disposal and Information Security Association (ADISA) - working in conjunction with the EA and ICO with the aim of helping regulate the industry to allow the good companies to stand out from the crowd and to assist asset owners make their sourcing decisions from an informed and assured perspective.

Jon Hallam - Sales Director

With over 20 years' experience in the IT industry Jon was appointed as Sales Director in July 2010 and has sole responsability to manage and grow the Consiglio sales team.

Jon has held senior roles with tier 1 consulting organisations ,including Accenture and Capgemini and is an experienced managing consultant, business developer, and corporate relationship manager. Working in the UK and overseas his background includes reseller and enterprise software and infrastructure providers. This breadth of experience across IT service providers gives Jon a wealth of insight and experience into what really goes on behind the scenes in any given client engagement. Jon is a passionate chef, scuba diver, and sailor but currently enjoys most of his time with his young family.

James Abbott - Marketing Director

James has a proven record of starting and growing his own businesses and brings over 15 years experience in both business development and marketing to Consiglio. During this time he has worked with some of the major IT vendors (HP, IBM, Sun, Cisco, 3Com, EMC, NetApp) and has a strong knowledge of their propositions and go-to-market strategy. Consiglio share James with his own company - IT Focus - and he brings a wealth of marketing experience and resource to the table and has proven to be a key driver in helping to grow the business and open up new markets.
